Fully Machined Lathe Chuck Back Plate D1 Type Adaptor For Most 4-Jaw Independent ChuckRequires machining the back plate shoulder, based upon the 4-jaw independent chuck which will be used.The back plate outside diameter is smaller than the lathe chuck diameter due to the mounting holes toward the center of the lathe chuck. The recess diameter of the lathe chuck still provides a tight fit.
