These parts are designed to meet our customers specifications, material requirements, depending on the component size and quantity required.G-Fast -USA manufactured cold-headed parts are used in a wide range of applications, including but not limited to industrial, commercial, military and government applications. This usually results in a savings of 40% – 70% over screw machining. After the initial cold-heading operation, precision detailed secondary operations can be employed to complete the part.In addition to design versatility and significant cost savings using the cold-heading process, cold-heading delivers increased production rates with greater parts strength. Cold-headed parts engineered with formed unbroken metal flows and cold working changes the structure of the metal which is inherent in this method giving the product enhanced strength over machined parts.Parts can be manufactured in diameters from 0.032″ to 1.125″ and up to 12″ in length depending on the diameter, M1 to M25 are typical metric equivalents.
