About Product
We produce custom shims and washers for all types of low and high volume as well as long run production requirements. Manufacturing compression, laminated, sheet, and tab types of shims is our specialty. An array of vertical machining centers, pedestal grinders, and high-speed lathes allows us to create elliptical, square, as well as slotted geometries. Intricate features can also be laser cut, stamped, or photo etched on parts. Flat, flush, flanged, and several other types of washers can be manufactured.Primarily used in missiles and aircraft, our laminated shims meet stringent material composition plus thickness specifications in compliance with Mil-Spec, AS, and NADCAP standards. Both shims and washers are machined to outer diameters that range from 0.125″ to 12″. Based on the application, we offer heat treated, nickel-plated, powder coated, and painted finishes. Minor assembly work, cold forming, and grinding are performed as secondary operations as well.
