Gemco Mfg. Co., a third-generation, ISO 9001 company, manufactures intricate, custom, precision metal stampings and wire forms for OEM manufacturers across a variety of industries including medical devices, electronics, automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, marine, electrical, power generation, architectural fasteners, commercial and residential lighting controls, and security systems. At Gemco, we design and build all customer tools and run production for our domestic and international business partners at our facility.Gemco’s core processes include fourslide / multi-slide and power press capabilities. Our production capacity is significant, with over sixty fourslides and twelve power presses ranging from 15 to 100 tons with order quantities ranging from 5,000 to 20,000,000 pcs. Offering two manufacturing processes allows Gemco to present alternative tool investment opportunities to our customer. Fourslide tools are oftentimes up to 50% less costly than progressive tools while still offering competitive, comparable component prices.Gemco produces components from a variety of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including but not limited to stainless steel, low and high carbon steel, beryllium copper, aluminum, copper and brass ranging from .005 to .125 inches thick. Additional processes include heat treat, finishing, in-die tapping, contact insertion and tape & reel in support of customers employing pick and place or automation.
