Plastic Injection Molded Pebax® (TPE) and Makrolon® (PC) Atomization Syringe for Medical Industry

Advantech Plastics provides contract plastic injection molding services for miniatures, small parts and multi-components. This atomization syringe was made for the medical industry, using injection and insert molding, sonic welding and printing. We used our 80-ton Cincinnati rotary, 90 ton Toyo & 170 ton Husky injection molding machines. We mold parts as small as 0.129 x 0.050 inches.The project was made from Pebax® (TPE) and Makrolon® (PC) materials. It was in development for two years, and everyone from CEO to press operators were involved. We faced many complications such as molding the nozzle (head) with a .010 in. diameter cross hole at 45 degree angle, which we solved by making a vacuum assist for insert molding.We offer the tightest tolerance of ± 0.002 in. We performed dimensional analysis along with custom airflow for in-process testing and inspection. The syringes are produced in an ISO 13485:2016 certified facility. We met the client requirement of 5,000 parts per month. Our customers find us reliable for our consistent quality.
