One of our strengths here at Elkins Machine & Tool is manufacturing custom fittings. We have extensive experience with these types of parts and have produced millions of custom fittings with elaborate design and quality criteria. Our state of the art manufacturing plant houses a large screw machining and tooling department as well as a secondary operations division equipped with VMCs, an assortment of mills and lathes, drill presses, punch presses, and dozens of other pieces of supporting equipment. We are set up to manage high volume projects but with the versatility to also accommodate prototype development and short run, fast-turnover orders.Manufacturing stainless steel fittings is one of our core capabilities, and we also excel at producing custom fittings from aluminum, brass, bronze alloys, copper, and alloy steels. Also, we have extensive experience making plastic fittings for valves, safety systems, and a multitude of other applications. Polymers we work with include PVC, PTFE, polycarbonate, and PEEK, among others. Along with hose couplings, elbows, hydraulic and pneumatic hose fittings, and tube fittings, examples of products we manufacture include bolts, screws, studs, washers, pins, and many other types of fittings and fasteners with any conceivable configuration. As part of our integrated custom fitting manufacturing services, we offer numerous finishing options. Examples include black oxide finishes, chromic seals, color coating, and nickel, brass, and zinc plating. We also provide additional services such as passivating, powder coating, welding, and assembly.Using accurate and repeatable manufacturing processes, all of our products conform to the highest standards of quality. Our total quality management program is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 certified, and we operate an in-house QC lab equipped with a full range of test and measurement instruments and devices.
