Featuring multi-station machining capabilities, our horizontal and trunnion-style rotary transfer machines perform various functions, including drilling, cross drilling, boring, turning, milling, threading, tapping, and broaching, all from a single setup. These machines incorporate advanced control systems that index parts from station to station where they are machined simultaneously. When parts exit the line, they are completely finished. Our rotary transfer equipment features 2-axis capability and CNC controls that ensure a high degree of quality and consistency. The machines are efficient, productive, and an excellent tool for parts that require production machining since secondary operations are minimized or eliminated entirely.We specialize in rotary transfer machining small to medium sized metal components. Along with alloy steels and aluminum, materials we commonly work with include stainless steel, titanium, copper, as well as high nickel alloys. Using our trunnion style equipment, we produce parts measuring as large as 3.5″ in diameter x 2.0″ in length, our standard style machine has a smaller work envelope of 1.0″ in diameter x 4.0″ in length. All can uphold tolerances as close as ±0.002″.With automated bar loading, our rotary transfer machines can run unattended for extended periods. Rotary transfer machining is advantageous for large batch sizes because of accelerated production speeds and low unit costs. We offer the choice of domestic production in our Pennsylvania manufacturing plant as well as overseas sourcing from our company-owned facility in China.
