Symmetrical load cell (force transducer) with strain gauge measurement technologyBecause of the good dynamic behaviour, the symmetrical design and the slim structure, these S-shaped force transducers are often used in materials testing machines, the monitoring of tension ropes or in lifting devices as well as in medical technology. They have a centric thread at the top and bottom for force and torque measurements for force application in the pulling or pushing direction.Due to their simple structure, S-Beam sensors are a real alternative to high-priced force sensors. S-Beams made of stainless steel should be used for dynamic loads, for use outdoors or where work is regularly carried out with strong and aggressive media. If the load is purely static, then an aluminum version is usually completely sufficient.
